Return & Refund Policy


All returns require a Return Authorization. Please contact us to request a return authorization.

We will accept returns only from authorized RTRhobbyjp dealers, provided that the request is made within 30 days of receipt of the item.

Standard Return Policy


Items must be in new, unused condition and include original packaging.

An item is considered "used" if:

- A model engine has been installed and run with fuel.

- Radio equipment has been installed in a model.

- Kit balsa wood has been cut.

- Software has been installed.

- Packaging materials have been discarded.

- The item has sustained physical damage.

Other Standard Rules


- We do not cover or refund return shipping costs.

- We do not accept returns via C.O.D. or any other collect payment method. C.O.D. packages will be refused and returned.

- Packages sent to us without a Return Authorization may be returned to the sender.

- Due to shipping regulations, we do not accept returns of fuel tanks, lithium-ion (LiIon), lithium-polymer (LiPo), or lead-acid (Pb) batteries.

- We do not accept returns of opened, used, or charged nickel or alkaline batteries.

- For returns that meet our policy, we do not charge a restocking fee.

Refund Processing


Upon receipt of the returned item, we will verify its resalable condition before processing the refund. Depending on the item type, the refund process may take 1-3 business days. If there are any delays in processing, we will notify you separately.

Special Cases


If an item is returned due to being unclaimed, refused by the recipient, or unpaid customs duties, it will be processed according to the standard return procedure. A processing fee and shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Claims for Shipping Damage


If you discover shipping damage upon receipt of your item, please contact us promptly within 48 hours of receipt. In cases of shipping damage, you can file a claim directly with us.

As a general rule, we may require you to return the damaged item for inspection and may also ask for photographs of the packaging and product damage. Providing damage photos helps to expedite the process and suggest appropriate solutions.

Claims for Lost Packages


If you suspect your item has been lost and not delivered, please contact us.

All packages shipped by RTRhobbyjp are 100% insured. If a package is confirmed lost, you may choose from the following solutions:

- Reshipment of the product

- Full credit to your account

- Full refund of the order amount

Exchanges/Returns for Defective Items


If you receive a defective item, please contact our customer service department immediately via phone, email, or online support.

For most manufacturers, we will handle the warranty process on your behalf, but some manufacturers or suppliers may require you to contact them directly.

If you are not satisfied with the resolution from the manufacturer, please contact us again. We will provide our full support.

Please always contact us in advance before returning an item. We are not responsible for items sent without prior notification.
